Person Centered Counselling, in Exeter and Online

Life can be challenging and this can take its toll on us, and those around us.

My name is Jane Blackburn and I’m a trained and qualified counsellor based in central Exeter. I offer a safe space for you to talk and work through the difficulties to find a way forward.

I have experience supporting people with:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Panic attacks

  • Expressing themselves

  • Self esteem

  • Low mood

  • Relationship difficulties

Why might I benefit from Counselling?

When life gets more difficult, we can start to feel a bit “off”. This might feel like a heaviness, tiredness, or lack of enthusiasm - as though we’re stuck.

You want things to change, to be different, to be better. You don’t want to feel like this anymore, but it’s hard to know where to start.

You’re ready for change.

Maybe you’ve tried different things on your own, but nothing has worked.

You don’t want to, or can’t easily, talk to your family or friends about how things are.

You want someone who will:

  • Listen to you without judgement

  • Reassure you

  • Help you make sense of how you’re feeling

  • Support you as you find a way forward
